Community Guidelines
Foundry is a place for discipleship and encouragement. To keep it safe, everyone agrees to these guidelines before messaging. They are part of our End User License Agreement.
- Effective date
- June 20, 2026
- What changed
- Moved into the legal center from the in-app gate, with the full standards now readable in one place.
The standards we keep
Treat everyone with dignity
Foundry is a place for honest, pastoral growth. No harassment, hate, threats, or demeaning language toward anyone, ever.
No objectionable or abusive content
Do not post content that is sexual, violent, hateful, or otherwise harmful. This applies to journals, reflections, messages, and uploads.
Keep it honest and your own
Share your own words and work. Do not impersonate others, spam, or misuse the platform.
Report and block
If you see content or behavior that breaks these guidelines, report it. You can also block another user. Reports are reviewed and acted on.
Zero tolerance, swift action
Accounts that post abusive content or harass others may have content removed and access removed without notice.
What is not allowed
The following will always be removed, and may cost you access to Foundry:
- Harassment, bullying, or threats
- Hate speech or discrimination
- Sexual, violent, or otherwise objectionable content
- Spam, scams, or impersonation
Reporting, blocking, and our response
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You can report or block anyone in chat, and our team acts on reports within 24 hours. When we act, we may remove content, warn an account, or remove access entirely, and serious violations can result in removal without notice.
If you are in crisis
Foundry is a discipleship space, not an emergency service. If you or someone you are messaging is in danger, contact your local emergency number right away. In the US you can call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Outside the US, find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. You are not alone.
How this fits the rest of our agreements
These guidelines work alongside our End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy. Together they describe how to use Foundry and how we care for your data.
