FOUNDRY
The agreement

End User License Agreement

Foundry is a Christian discipleship platform built by LifeCity. This agreement is between you and LifeCity, and it sets the terms for using the app. By creating an account or using Foundry, you accept it.

Effective date
June 20, 2026
What changed
First published version of the standalone EULA, moved out of the in-app gate so it can be read and kept in full.

Your license to use Foundry

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use Foundry on your own devices for discipleship and growth. The license lasts while your account is in good standing and you keep to this agreement and our Community Guidelines.

You do not own a copy of Foundry. We keep all rights to the app, the curriculum, and the brand that are not given to you here.

Who can use Foundry

You must be at least 13 years old to have an account. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you should use Foundry with the knowledge of a parent or guardian. Mentors and admins act on behalf of the churches and organizations they serve.

Your responsibilities

  • Keep your sign-in details private and let us know if your account is used without your permission.
  • Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your profile honest.
  • Use Foundry for its purpose: discipleship, mentoring, and growth, not for any unlawful or harmful end.
  • Share only your own words and work, and respect the people you meet here.

A full account of conduct on the platform lives in our Community Guidelines, which are part of this agreement.

Content you create

You keep ownership of the journals, reflections, homework, and messages you write in Foundry. You give us permission to store and display that content so the app can work: for example, so a mentor you are paired with can read and respond to the homework you submit. We do not sell your content, and we do not claim it as our own.

Subscriptions and payments

Some access to Foundry is paid. Where a subscription is bought through the App Store or Google Play, that store handles the charge, renewal, and any refund under its own rules, and you can manage or cancel the subscription in your store account. Sponsored seats granted by a church or organization follow the terms of that sponsorship.

No medical or crisis service

Foundry supports spiritual growth and mentoring. It is not a medical, mental health, or emergency service, and it is not a substitute for professional care. If you are in danger or in crisis, contact your local emergency number right away. In the United States you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Outside the United States, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Foundry and delete your account at any time. Our account and data deletion page explains how. We may suspend or end access for accounts that break this agreement or the Community Guidelines, and serious or abusive violations can result in removal without notice.

Disclaimers and liability

Foundry is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, LifeCity is not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing here removes a right you have that cannot be waived under the law where you live.

Changes to this agreement

We may update this agreement as Foundry grows. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and note what changed. Continuing to use Foundry after a change means you accept the updated terms.
